This sales role, ideal for an individual with 5 years B2B sales experience, reports to the National Sales Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities in Ontario. We operate out of a modern manufacturing facility in south Burnaby as well as a distribution centre and sales office in Mississauga. The Challenge: With the support of the National Sales Manager, your peers and customer service team, increase company’s market share, while maintaining and enhancing our sales with current customers Key Responsibilities: Field based sales position calling on a variety of leading regional & national chains, building supply yards and roofing suppliers Spends the majority of time cultivating new relationships with key distributors and dealers throughout the province building upon and fostering relationships with both existing and new customer partners Demonstrated ability to prioritize sales opportunities, grow your dealer network, and execute sales plans Focus on new business development, conducting cold calls, online searches, prequalifying and sourcing quotation opportunities Presents and implements marketing, merchandising, and promotional programs and materials to customers Sales reporting: Provide regular communication with emphasis on customer calls including action & follow up plans and competitive activities Provide product knowledge training in formal / informal settings This position involves the sale of the Columbia Skylight and Fakro European Roof Window product lines Attend trade shows and contractor events, professionally representing company Required Skills, Qualities and Abilities: University Degree / College Diploma preferred Building materials and/or roofing industry experience is a desirable asset Ability to learn quickly, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport in a variety of settings Self-starter who has a demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently without supervision, and effective territory and time management skills. You possess an outstanding work ethic Team player with an entrepreneurial spirit, driven, and enjoy a challenge.
