Territory/Dealer Manager (Office Furniture) Location: Hyrbrid (GTA based) Reports To: Vice President, Sales & Marketing Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative contract office furniture solutions, specializing in flexible, design-driven workspace solutions for businesses, architects, and designers. As they continue to expand, they are investing in new business development initiatives to strengthen dealer relationships, drive market penetration, and increase brand awareness in the A&D community. About the job Our client is seeking a Territory / Dealer Manager to lead the expansion of their dealer channel across Canada. This is a mid-level position requiring a highly motivated, relationship-driven professional with deep industry knowledge and a strong network within the contract furniture and A&D community. This role is focused on dealer acquisition, dealer enablement, and relationship management. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, onboarding, and enabling high-potential dealers while representing our client’s brand, values, and product portfolio with integrity and expertise. Responsibilities Dealer Recruitment & Activation Identify and vet new dealer partners aligned with strategic growth targets Develop onboarding and support plans to ramp up dealer productivity Evaluate territory gaps and prioritize regions for dealer expansion Relationship Management & Enablement Cultivate long-term relationships with dealer principals, sales teams, and influencers Conduct training sessions and product knowledge events to drive dealer engagement Provide hands-on support for key opportunities, including pricing, quoting, and product selection Market Development & Strategic Sales Work closely with the internal sales and marketing teams to support go-to-market strategy Participate in major trade shows, A&D events, and dealer activations Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback Sales Reporting & Forecasting Maintain CRM records and dealer performance dashboards Track activity-based KPIs and report monthly on dealer pipeline progress Collaborate with operations and marketing to ensure sales alignment Qualifications 5 years in the contract furniture industry with a strong record in dealer development or sales leadership is an asset Deep understanding of dealer business models, procurement processes, and the Canadian contract furniture landscape Well-established network within A&D, dealer, and end-user communities is an asset Experience with dealer onboarding, training, and territory management Strong business acumen with a strategic, consultative selling style Highly self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Familiarity with Salesforce.com CRM systems and the Microsoft suite of products About the opportunity Opportunity to drive revenue growth and shape market expansion strategies.
