Title: Tecsys Healthcare WMS Application Specialist Location: Canada (Remote) Duration: 06 – 12 months contract Job Summary: Seeking a WMS (Warehouse Management System) Implementation Consultant to play a vital role within rapidly growing Healthcare Supply Chain practice . The selected candidate will be responsible for executing end-to-end implementation , configuration, and deployment of the warehouse management system (WMS). You will work in close collaboration with both the customer and the project team to identify customer needs , define business processes, recommend best-practices, establish performance metrics and drive configuration of the WMS solution. Duties & Responsibilities: The specific tasks, duties, and responsibilities that a team member in this position is expected to complete regularly to be successful at RiseNow. Support execution of the end-to-end project implementation, configuration, and deployment of the WMS (Warehouse Management System) solution . Software solution testing, including unit, integration, and regression test plans. Some travel, estimated at 30 – 40 %. Works with Manager to fully complete annual performance development activities and facilitation to support developing knowledge, skills, and experience for current role and/or future role(s). ROLE REQUIREMENTS: The skills, certifications, or other ‘qualifications’ a team member needs to currently possess to perform at this job level. A minimum of three years of consulting experience implementing large-scale warehouse management solutions within healthcare preferred. A minimum of three years working inside of a Supply Chain Management consulting f irm, with a Logistics Service Provider (e.g., 3PL), or within a health system supply chain. Previous experience with Tecsys WMS or similar solution (e.g., Manhattan WMS, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder) is a must. Experienced in integrating WMS (Warehouse Management System ) solution with other downstream execution/planning applications, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). Experience in project management or lead role in technical implementations preferred. Business operations working within a hospital supply chain setting or direct ERP implementation and process experience in the healthcare industry Business process requirement definition, software configuration, data loading, testing, and training Excellent understanding of hospital supply and inventory management Excellent knowledge of healthcare industry terminology Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or EHR/EMR applications. Ability to prepare materials and drive/conduct required workshops and training sessions with the client. Experienced in full development lifecycle in WMS (Warehouse Management System) – Business Process Design, Solution Blueprint, System Design, Build, Test, Deploy, and Business Stabilization / Hypercare. Operational experience with the use of a WMS is a must. Management or direct support experience with a WMS is preferred. Strong foundational consulting skills including strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, impactful client presence, compelling facilitation, and presentation skills
