To support our global expansion, we are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to drive our implementation projects in North-America. Role Overview The Technical Business Analyst at BlueRock TMS plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s transition to a more product-driven approach. This role involves consulting with customers to leverage best practice templates built into the software, optimizing these templates based on tangible use cases, and ensuring that customers achieve maximum value from their TMS implementation. Additionally, the role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of BlueRock TMS. Key Responsibilities Customer Consultation & Best Practices: Serve as the primary consultant for customers, guiding them on how to best utilize the TMS platform’s built-in templates. Work closely with customers to understand their business processes and recommend the best practice templates that align with their needs. Provide training and support to customers on the effective use of templates, ensuring a smooth onboarding process. Template Development & Optimization: Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to develop and refine best practice templates within the TMS software. Gather feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to continuously improve template offerings. Analyze customer use cases and data to identify areas for template enhancement, ensuring that templates are aligned with current industry standards and customer needs. Project Collaboration: Work closely with the Project Manager to design, implement, test, and deploy BlueRock TMS successfully. Coordinate with the Middleware team to onboard Logistics Service Providers, ensuring seamless integration with BlueRock TMS. Drive the utilization and standardization of APIs to connect BlueRock TMS with third-party systems such as WMS, ERP, Visibility Providers, Customs Solutions, and others. Product-Driven Strategy: Act as a bridge between the Professional Services and Product teams to ensure that customer insights are integrated into product development. Advocate for a product-driven approach within the Professional Services team, promoting the use of standardized templates to achieve consistent results across implementations. Contribute to the creation of a knowledge base of use cases and templates to support the scalability of the product. Data Analysis & Reporting: Use data-driven insights to assess the effectiveness of templates and recommend improvements. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track the usage and performance of templates across customer implementations. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. Support: Provide support by responding to and resolving second or third line support tickets. Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Professional Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Technical Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within the SaaS or TMS industries. Proven experience in product-driven environments, with a strong understanding of software implementation and best practices. Experience in API integration and standardization, particularly with systems such as WMS, ERP, Visibility Providers, and Customs Solutions. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of TMS platforms and their applications in various industries. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Experience with API utilization and standardization for third-party system integration. Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, and other data visualization software. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
