About the Position: We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for developing and executing engaging social media content, supporting marketing campaigns, and enhancing brand visibility across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for design and branding. Responsibilities: Social Media Management Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance brand awareness and engagement. Create, schedule, and publish content across all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Monitor social media trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities. Engage with online communities, respond to comments, and manage direct messages in a timely manner. Track and analyze key performance metrics to optimize social media efforts. Marketing & Content Creation Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns. Design graphics and social media assets using tools like Canva and Adobe Suite. Write compelling copy for social media. Support the creation of newsletters, notices and other internal communication. Assist with updating and maintaining the marketing department’s documentation, databases, media assets, reports, listings, etc. Assist with other duties deemed necessary by Director of Marketing. Event Support & Coordination Support the planning and execution of promotional events, open houses, resident events, and sponsorship activities. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field. 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation. Strong knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and analytic tools. Proficiency in content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively. Valid driver’s license.
