They are expanding their sales force and looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager – Full Sales Cycle to spearhead growth in key markets. About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and managing long-term client relationships. This is a strategic and high-impact role, requiring a blend of technical acumen, relationship-building skills, and sales expertise to drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate key industries, including aerospace, fuel cells, defense, automotive, marine, and mining sectors. Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing client relationships. Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial contact to contract negotiation and deal closure. Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers, including VPs, procurement managers, and technical teams. Effectively communicate technical product offerings and value propositions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Drive revenue growth by identifying cost-reduction opportunities and securing long-term contracts. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities. Maintain and update CRM systems (HubSpot, Thomasnet, ZoomInfo, or similar) to track sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and outstanding client satisfaction. Travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and close deals. Profile Required: Background in engineering with the ability to generate new business and bring in work. Strong business development experience in manufacturing sales. Proven track record working with larger contracts. Autonomous, strategic, and persistent in building relationships. Expertise in tech sales with a strong focus on industries such as Aerospace, Machine Manufacturing, Mining, and Marine. Ability to develop large manufacturing clients (aerospace, CMC shops, production lines). Focus on cost-reduction opportunities for clients. Work closely with VPs, procurement managers, and technical teams. Grow existing and new relationships to secure long-term contracts. Qualifications & Experience: 5 years of direct sales experience in manufacturing, CNC machining, or related industrial sales. Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and close large-scale deals. Strong background in contract manufacturing sales for aerospace, high-tech, or similar industries is highly preferred. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. High level of organization and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple accounts and priorities. Ability to travel locally and internationally as needed. A valid driver’s license and a car are required, as the role involves frequent travel to clients’ premises. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, Business, or a related field preferred.
