Peakhill Capital is a commercial real estate capital provider with mortgage investments across all real estate asset classes in Canada. Our equity platform (Peakhill Equity Partners) is an opportunistic equity platform focused on investments in ground up and value-add projects in Canada and the United States. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet the needs of our staff. You will work on both the front-end and back-end of applications, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies will contribute to the success of our software development projects. You will work in -person, in our downtown Toronto office. In this role, you will impact the development and delivery of innovative software solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain software applications and solutions using REACT, Typescript/Java Script, PostgreSQL, Python and AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful implementation of software projects. Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and debug software issues, ensuring timely resolution. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in software development processes. Technical Requirements 7 years of professional software development experience Strong expertise in: TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6) REACT Python (3.8) PostgreSQL AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS) Git and modern CI/CD practices Docker and containerization RESTful API design and implementation Unit and integration testing Terraform for infrastructure as code Experience with: Agile development methodologies Code review processes Performance optimization Security best practices External API integrations Database migrations and schema management Education Bachelor’s in Software Engineering, or related field Relevant certifications (AWS, TypeScript, etc.) are a plus Work 7 years of experience in a full stack development position Benefits Of Working for Peakhill Capital Benefits – Medical, Vision, Dental, Mental Health Paid Vacation Career Growth Professional Development.
