Description
Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Toronto | Hybrid (4 Days In-Office, 1 Day Remote) Full-Time | $120,000–$135,000 Bonus Comprehensive Benefits Are you ready to step into a high-impact role where your expertise in Enterprise Risk Management truly drives the agenda? We’re partnering with a well-established Canadian financial institution to hire a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk — a hands-on leader who brings deep, practical experience in executing core ERM activities. This is more than a strategic role — it’s an opportunity to shape enterprise-wide risk programs from the inside out , directly supporting the CRO and influencing key decisions across the business. Why You’ll Want This Role True Ownership: You’ll lead and execute foundational ERM programs — Risk Appetite , Scenario Analysis , Risk Taxonomy , and Stress Testing — not just advise on them. Executive Exposure: Act as a trusted advisor to the CRO and senior leadership, contributing to risk strategy at the highest levels. Strong Compensation: Base salary of $120K–$135K , annual performance bonus, and a full suite of benefits. Hybrid Flexibility: Work from a vibrant downtown Toronto office 4 days a week , with 1 remote day for flexibility and focus. High-Impact Work: Your contributions will directly influence how risk is managed, measured, and governed across the enterprise. What You’ll Be Responsible For Developing and enhancing Risk Appetite Statements across all enterprise risk categories — financial and non-financial. Leading the design and delivery of Enterprise Risk Scenario Analysis aligned with internal and regulatory expectations. Owning the Risk Taxonomy and Identification process to ensure comprehensive and consistent risk capture across the organization. Driving Stress Testing initiatives to test resilience under various market and operational scenarios. Enhancing executive-level reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support effective risk oversight. Engaging across functions to embed enterprise risk practices and maintain alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI, CBA). What You Bring 7–10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise risk management within a Canadian financial institution — this is non-negotiable. Direct, practical experience executing core ERM programs — you’ve built, led, and improved them, not just reviewed or advised. Strong knowledge of the Canadian banking landscape, regulatory environment, and governance expectations. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for executive stakeholders. Designations such as FRM, CPA, CFA, or CIA are considered strong assets. What We’re Not Looking For This isn’t a purely strategic or advisory role. We’re looking for someone who’s rolled up their sleeves and led the work — someone who has built and run risk frameworks, executed scenario analysis, and owned deliverables at the enterprise level. If your experience is more conceptual or limited to oversight, this role likely isn’t the right fit. Ready to make your mark in a senior risk leadership role where your work truly matters? Apply now and take the next big step in your risk career — at a place where your voice is heard, your expertise is valued, and your impact is tangible.
