THE POSITION A newly created role, the Senior Director, Biostatistics will lead Alimentiv’s Statistics Department, including the delivery of statistical services and statistical thought leadership and consulting, with the aim of ensuring operational excellence, high quality service delivery and client satisfaction. Based remote anywhere in the Americas, reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Services, the Senior Director, Biostatistics will lead a team of 25 with 3 direct reports including the Director of Statistics, Principal Statistician, and Manager of the Statistics COE. A client-centric leader, the Senior Director, Biostatistics will capitalize on new opportunities, drive strategic alignment with organizational goals and foster cross-functional collaboration, effectively enhancing Alimentiv’s reputation for innovative statistical solutions and client-focused delivery. A leader that delivers positive change, the Senior Director, Biostatistics will provide leadership in client engagement and talent development, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement while positioning Alimentiv as a global leader in Biostatistics. Collaborative, responsive, and nimble, the ideal candidate is an experienced, client-facing Biostatistics leader with significant global CRO industry experience and demonstrated competency in statistical design and delivery of medical research studies for journal publications as well as the design of interventional and non-interventional clinical studies. The Senior Director, Biostatistics demonstrates exceptional communication, client and change management skills with a strong track record of thought leadership and team development. The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree combined with 12 years of biostatistics experience in clinical research, including 5 years of experience in client-facing roles. The Senior Director will bring demonstrated success within fast-paced, matrixed global CRO settings with exposure to Medical Research & Development (MR&D) and quality initiatives. A Ph.D. in Biostatistics or a related field is strongly preferred.
