Our client is a leading provider of Third-Party Logistics (3PL) solutions, offering comprehensive supply chain management services to a wide range of clients. Their goal is to provide efficient, cost-effective, and innovative logistics solutions that drive customer success. They are seeking a Sales Manager with an aggressive approach on new business development, a passion for technology and an aptitude for creating robust CRM systems and lead generation initiatives. Position Overview: The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in building and developing a team, driving new business, managing and nurturing customer relationships, and expanding our customer base within the 3PL industry. This role is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a strong background in logistics and a passion for delivering results. Key Responsibilities: Lead the inside sales team to achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and KPIs. Develop and implement sales strategies to identify, prospect, and acquire new clients within the 3PL industry. Help build, optimize, and manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track sales pipelines, client interactions, and performance metrics. Design and implement lead generation processes, including identifying target markets and leveraging technology for prospecting and outreach. Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to inside sales representatives. Analyze sales performance data and provide regular reports to senior management. Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions. Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of logistics solutions for new and existing customers. Qualifications: 3 years of experience in inside sales or business development within the 3PL, logistics, or supply chain industry. Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and lead generation tools. Proven track record of sales success, including meeting or exceeding targets. Strong leadership skills with experience managing a sales team. Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions. An aptitude for technology and experience using it Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehousing, transportation, and supply chain management. Ability to understand and explain complex logistics solutions to clients. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
