Position: Proposal Coordinator Location: Toronto, Ontario Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 Overview: A leading General Contractor specializing in Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) projects is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join its team in Toronto, Ontario. Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the full lifecycle of proposal submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met. Work closely with business development, estimating, and project teams to gather and compile relevant information for proposals. Assist in the development, writing, and editing of content for RFPs, RFQs, and other client submissions. Maintain and organize a proposal database, ensuring easy access to past submissions, resumes, project sheets, and marketing materials. Support the design and layout of proposals, ensuring a professional and visually engaging final product. Assist in maintaining corporate marketing materials, including project case studies, team bios, and company profiles. Skills and Experience: Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the construction, real estate development, or architecture/engineering industry is highly preferred. Writing and Editing Skills: Strong ability to develop engaging, clear, and persuasive proposal content. Project Coordination: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for formatting, consistency, and accuracy in all written materials. Software Proficiency: Experience with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems is an asset. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a proposal coordination, marketing, or business development role within the construction or related industry. Education: A post-secondary degree or diploma in Writing, Literacy, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.
