Job Title: Senior Project Manager Location: Mississauga (Hybrid) Job Type: 12-Month Contract (Extendable) Experience Level: Senior (10 years) About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the development and implementation of a state-of-the-art ordering application for a fleet management company. This role requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, working with business teams, executives, and technical professionals to ensure project success. While this is not a technical role, the ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading technology-driven projects and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. The role will be delivered in an Agile environment, requiring adaptability, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to managing iterations and stakeholder expectations. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead and drive the successful end-to-end delivery of a new ordering application. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, including business teams, executives, and technical teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Develop and maintain a detailed Agile project plan, identifying key milestones, risks, and dependencies. Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth collaboration and clarity on project goals. Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing mitigation strategies as needed. Ensure project deliverables are met on time, within scope, and within budget. Utilize Agile and Scrum methodologies to manage project execution, facilitating stand-ups, sprints, and iterative planning. Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on project progress and potential roadblocks. Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices in Agile project management. Required Qualifications & Experience:10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technology-driven initiatives. Proven ability to manage complex, multimillion-dollar projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong understanding of ordering applications, preferably within e-commerce, logistics, or fleet management industries. Experience working in Agile environments, leading sprints and iterative development cycles. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, ensuring both perspectives are effectively represented. Demonstrated success in driving projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation technology industries. Familiarity with order management systems and modern digital platforms.
