Your new role Are you an organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant with an existing personal injury skillet? We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join a dynamic team of legal professionals in our client’s Toronto office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading law firm known for its expertise and commitment to excellence in personal injury law. The primary function of your role will be: Manage a high volume of client intake Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal staff. Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and court dates. Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist in case preparation. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. What you’ll need to succeed Minimum of 2 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation. Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
