People like you We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple companies and provinces. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday and a solid understanding of Canadian payroll regulations, including the nuances of multi-provincial payroll. Managing and ensuring compliance with provincial payroll laws, taxes, benefits, and deductions. Utilizing Workday for payroll processing, ensuring accurate input of employee data, timekeeping, and compensation adjustments. Maintaining and updating employee payroll records in Workday. Reconciling payroll discrepancies, including tax filings and benefits-related issues. Ensuring timely remittance of statutory deductions to the appropriate authorities. Preparing and submitting monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports. Responding to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management. Assisting with the preparation and auditing of year-end reports and T4/T4A slips. Staying up to date with changes in payroll legislation and best practices across all provinces. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE: 3 years of experience in payroll administration with multi-provincial payroll experience. Strong proficiency in the Workday payroll system. In-depth knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations and tax laws across multiple provinces. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other payroll-related software.
