What do we do? Co-founded by Harvard graduates, Sinica Education provides online educational services to bilingual international students in middle school, high school, and college. Our services include: online accredited courses, academic counseling, one-on-one tutoring, and other academic support and guidance to ensure our students’ academic success. Sinica Education is looking for part-time instructors to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for instructors who can tutor Advanced Placement and college level courses. The ideal instructor would be able to cover both high school (AP) and college level courses. AP Physics 1, 2, and C – High School Level Introduction and Intermediate Physics – College Level While are are prioritizing physics applicants, we are also looking for instructors in the following areas: Computer science – AP CSA, AP CSP Mathematics – AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Calculus I and II, Calculus III (multivariable), Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Discrete Math Statistics – AP Statistics Location : Online/Remote Hours : 6-20 Schedule : You can pick the availability that works the best for you. What are the required qualifications ? Native or near-native (high) proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese and English MUST hold a bachelor or graduate degree from a top university. Bachelor’s degree must be completed prior to applying. In-depth knowledge content knowledge and understanding of 1-2 subjects listed above Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills A real passion for equitable education and a desire to work with international students with diverse identities, cultural background, and academic proficiency What are other desirable qualifications? Current MA, PhD or EdD candidates are encouraged to apply. Classroom teaching experience at the high school or college level One-on-one tutoring experience with high school (AP preferred) or college students Experience with online learning platforms
