Iris’s clients, multinational investment banking and financial services corporations are hiring Machine Learning Engineer in Toronto, ON. Title: Machine Learning Engineer Client- Financial/Banking Location- Toronto, ON Duration: 18 – 24 Months (Open ended SoW) About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Machine Learning Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machine learning model development, deployment, and operationalization in production environments. As part of this role, you will be responsible for building and deploying ML pipelines, utilizing AWS services such as SageMaker, and ensuring the successful delivery of machine learning solutions at scale. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable machine learning models and solutions. Implement MLOps pipelines for seamless model deployment, testing, monitoring, and maintenance. Use AWS SageMaker for building, training, and deploying machine learning models. Work with Python, PySpark, and other related technologies to process large datasets and create efficient machine learning workflows. Design and manage infrastructure for ML operations using AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure smooth integration of ML solutions. Leverage orchestration tools like AWS Step Functions and containers (ECS) to automate workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Optimize and troubleshoot ML pipelines to ensure performance and scalability. Maintain best practices for version control, model deployment, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). Stay up to date with the latest trends in machine learning and AI to continuously improve processes. Must-Have Qualifications: Proven experience in machine learning, including model development, training, and deployment. Hands-on experience with MLOps pipelines (design, deployment, monitoring). Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation and model development. In-depth knowledge of AWS services, particularly Amazon SageMaker, AWS Step Functions, and CDK (Cloud Development Kit). Experience in containerization and orchestration (ECS, Docker, Kubernetes). Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and automation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in complex situations.
