Job Title – Lead Data Engineer Location – Mississauga, ON L5N 5M8 (Hybrid) Duration – 7 Months (Possibility of Extension) Description: We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with deep expertise in Snowflake and development to drive cloud data warehouse solutions and shape data strategy, integration, and governance. This role will oversee end-to-end data architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance data operations across AWS, Snowflake, and other Client ecosystems. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data strategy and architecture decisions. Consult, design, and implement Snowflake-based data warehouses with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. Enforce data architecture and governance policies for commercial toolchains. Support query performance tuning, data quality frameworks, and governance controls (e.g., masking, row-level security). Automate workflows and optimize data processes using Python scripting. Required Skills & Experience: 10 years of experience in data warehousing, cloud platforms, and data architecture. Expertise in Snowflake development, optimization, and administration. Proficiency in DBT, Python, and cloud data integration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-driven approach. Experience in designing and leading enterprise-scale data solutions.
