JOB SUMMARY : The Outside Sales Key Account Manager manages all sales-related activities in the assigned territory. The incumbent is primarily responsible for business maintenance and development. The incumbent is called upon to work closely with other departments in order to respond adequately, effectively and quickly to the needs of customers. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop and maintain a profitable business in the assigned territory; Maximise sales for our different events such as ISN Days, Tool Dealer Expo; Hold monthly meetings with customer representatives to promote our products; Pre-analyze the needs of the clients before the meeting; Prepare quotations, demos, solutions prior to meetings; Discuss and analyse the needs or issues on site; Present and explain products, parts or equipment using documentation or demos; Provide information on the company, inventory and after-sales service; Finalise and follow up on the quotations and placing orders; Forwarding orders to technical advisors; Arrange appointments for the installs of products, parts or equipment sold and provide training to the user on the use and maintenance required to maximise life; Maximise margins on products sold; Carry out an analysis when a sale is lost (reason, competitor, price, etc.); Prepare a bi-weekly On-on-One meeting with Regional Sales Director; Do detailing days with his customer’s representatives selling in tandem to shops; Sell in stock programs Ensure regular meetings with all part stores, dealers, dealerships in the assigned territory; Question potential customers to understand why they order from competitors; Notify all current and potential customers of changes in the range of products and/or services offered; Coordinate meetings with the sales manager/owner for major clients; Conducting sales training at the customer’s premises; Ensuring that customers’ salespeople sell the company’s products; Seek new business opportunities with new dealers; Discover and pursue sales opportunities with existing customers to identify products sold by ISN but purchased from competitors; Discuss with decision makers how to increase the company’s market share; Establish, jointly with the Regional Sales Director, a business development plan and an action plan in the assigned territory; Follow up and correct the business development plan and the action plan to ensure its implementation; Respond to customer calls regarding various requests (equipment, parts, prices, deadlines, etc.); Making quotations or orders by telephone Provide support when the customer has issues with an equipment/tool; Communicate regularly with technical advisors on quotations, orders, installations, repairs, prices, stock levels, product information, etc; Attend monthly meetings with other representatives and the Vice-President of Sales; Providing and attending training (from other representatives, advisors or suppliers) and learning about products; Participate in trade fairs; Maintain an up-to-date customer database; REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS : College certificate or equivalent in a field relevant to the role; 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position; Positive attitude Show initiative and resourcefulness; Have strong learning skills and be eager to learn; Have a development mindset; Be customer-oriented; Be a team player; Have strong communication skills; Have vehicle and be available to travel.
