The Position Reporting to the Sales Director, the Inside Sales Representative manage a multitude of customers who partner with Giraffe Foods to bring variety and flavor to their product lines and assists other members of the sales team by handling remote interactions with customers. Maintaining customer satisfaction is their primary goal, and they spend much of their time responding to inquiries, helping with issues, and providing updates on requests while looking for new sales opportunities. This position will be responsible for assisting in the timely movement of product to meet contractual commitments and customer needs. This position will collaborate with R&D, Quality, and the site’s 3PL’s to ensure service targets are met. Key Accountabilities Build relationships with customers by proactively following up on their satisfaction with company services and addressing inquiries and concerns. Relaying information and coordinating with internal teams to solve issues. Qualify potential leads Respond to phone calls, emails, and social media messages. Create new opportunities with existing customers by pitching relevant products or services. Coordinate with customers about order specific details Update information in the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) software. Responsible for customer portal setups, entering information and keeping portals up to date Assist with listing sheets and customer set up forms Liaison with operations, sales, warehousing, carriers and customers Maintain freight rate information database Overseeing sales process and facilitating order fulfilment.
