On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Technical Lead to join our Client’s team on a Full-time Permanent basis. This role is Hybrid with 3 days onsite per week, and the Client is based in Surrey. Compensation includes a generous benefits program including extended health/dental and pension . Summary of the Role: The Technical Lead will play a key role in delivering innovative IT solutions to support the Client’s strategic objectives. Acting as a bridge between high-level architectural vision and practical implementation, the successful candidate will oversee the design, integration, and transition of technical solutions across diverse initiatives. Duties & Responsibilities: Design and deliver solutions by translating high-level designs and business requirements into detailed, actionable plans. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, project managers, and operational teams to ensure technical alignment with business goals. Lead implementation efforts, including infrastructure and application environment build, configuration, and integration. Guide technical resources across various disciplines, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. Develop documentation, including low-level designs and standard operating procedures, ensuring seamless handover to operational teams. Contribute to architectural approaches and establish repeatable frameworks for IT solution delivery. Core Requirements: Minimum 2-year diploma in information systems and at least 6 years of IT implementation experience, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven ability to deliver large and complex solutions. Strong knowledge of cloud-hosted solutions, networking, scripting, databases, integrations, and IT support environments. Ability to create low-level designs based on architectural plans and collaborate with operational teams. Technical Leadership experience in guiding teams and fostering collaboration. Desired Skills & Experience: Prior experience in larger organizations with a preference for public sector. Hands-on experience with cloud implementations and networking. Exposure to multi-cloud data center transitions and application upgrades. Familiarity with transitioning solutions to operational sustainment teams. Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills in complex IT environments. Terms: This role offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite per week and participation in a pension plan after 3 months. The office is located within a 5-minute walk of Skytrain and bus-loop, and has plenty of onsite parking.
