We’re addressing the housing crisis by connecting our clients to suitable properties and need a proactive individual to expand our landlord network. Role Summary As a Host Acquisition and Management Specialist , you’ll lead property acquisition by engaging commercial, private landlords to bring residential properties into TempHo for sub-leasing to newcomers. You’ll manage landlord relationships, coordinate contracts, and conduct research—both virtual and in the field—to grow our portfolio and support our mission. Key Responsibilities Property Acquisition : Contact commercial, and private landlords, to bring residential properties for sub-leasing; use online platforms and plans for connecting; meet monthly targets (100 landlords). Landlord Engagement : Attend rental viewings and networking opportunities to build landlord interest and trust. Landlord Relationship Management : Serve as the primary contact for landlords; address concerns, provide updates, and maintain strong, positive partnerships. Outreach & Travel : Travel across Ontario to meet landlords and inspect properties; represent TempHo at housing events. Contracts & Documentation : Coordinate and manage all contracts and documents with landlords; ensure compliance with company policies. Research & Inspections : Conduct virtual and field research to identify opportunities; attend all property inspections to assess suitability. Collaboration & Reporting : Update supervisors daily via company tools; work with teams to prepare properties for clients. Requirements and Qualifications 2–3 years in real estate, property acquisition, or landlord management roles. Existing network of landlords or property contacts (highly preferred). Proven negotiation and relationship management skills with a results-driven approach. Strong communication, coordination, and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (required for Ontario travel). Knowledge of Ontario’s rental market and regulations. Benefits and Perks $36,000/year $2,500 performance incentives.
