Job Title: Guidewire Claim Center Integration Developer Role will be 100% remote, but resource has to be based out of Ontario. • What are the must-have skills for this role? We are seeking a Guidewire Claim Center Integration Developer to build and maintain integrations between a customer facing JDP Portal and Guidewire Claim Center systems. The role focuses on developing secure, high-performance integrations using Guidewire REST APIs and EDGE APIs, enabling seamless real-time data exchange across platforms. Strong experience with Guidewire data models, API development, and insurance business processes is required. Role Focus: The primary responsibility is to develop, enhance, and maintain integrations between the Digital Portal (JDP and Jutro legacy) and Guidewire Claim Center. The integrations are primarily through REST APIs (Guidewires exposed APIs) and EDGE APIs to enable seamless data exchange between the portal and backend insurance systems. Key Responsibilities: • Develop API Integrations: Build and manage integrations using Guidewire REST APIs and EDGE APIs to fetch, create, and update claim data. • Portal-Backend Communication: Enable real-time, secure communication between the JDP Portal and Guidewire applications. • Customize or Extend APIs: Customize Guidewires REST APIs when needed to support unique business requirements. • Data Mapping and Transformation: Map and transform data between JDP Portal structures and Guidewire domain models (e.g., Claims, Policies, Contacts). • Error Handling and Resiliency: Implement robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and logging for API transactions. • Performance and Scalability: Optimize API design and usage for high throughput and minimal latency. • Security Compliance: Ensure all API interactions are secure (e.g., OAuth2, JWT tokens, HTTPS encryption). • Testing and Validation: Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for all APIs and workflows. Skills Required: • Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire REST APIs and EDGE APIs • Experience building RESTful integrations (using JSON, Swagger) • Understanding of Guidewire data models (Claim Center and Policy Center) • Gosu scripting knowledge (for backend customization if needed) • API security standards (OAuth2, JWT, etc.) • Strong understanding of insurance workflows (claims, policies, parties) • Familiarity with API debugging and monitoring tools • (Optional) Cloud deployment knowledge (if APIs are exposed externally)
