Responsibilities : Gather pertinent information for presentations: Investment Review, Investment Analysis, Retirement Analysis, New Client, Insurance Analysis, Pension Review & Analysis Prepare preliminary investment recommendations for review. Retrieve data from investment managers. Statement preparation and preparation for client reviews in PowerPoint Review and validate all data and calculations for accuracy and reasonableness. Review presentation past notes and on-going client meeting notes to decipher tasks and ensure completed on time. Ensure client “Vault” is up to date with statements and presentations. Book & confirm client meetings. Summarize client meeting notes to clients for affirmation. Manage all responsibilities to regulatory guidelines. Review RRSP, RESP, TFSA, IPP, RCA contributions to ensure maximized where applicable. Responsible for reallocations on Universal Life under UL model Monitoring and tracking of client investment history Client quarterly reporting Become proficient with Maximizer, Ndex, Razor, Morningstar, and other investment analysis software. Prepare corporate year-end tax packages for clients and proactively send to accountants at corporate year end. Respond to client/accountant requests in a timely manner. Skills & Qualifications : Minimum 3 years financial services experience CSC preferred, but not required. Completion of post-secondary education preferably in Finance, Math or Business Intermediate knowledge of investments and investment account types, including RRSP, RESP, TFSA, IPP and RCA vehicles Basic knowledge of insurance products Strong computer and mathematical skills Above average organizational and logical/common sense skills Above average Excel, PowerPoint and online skills Attention to detail – accuracy is a key component of this position. Strong communication skills Ability to multi-task in a sometimes-high pressured environment A demonstrated passion for the investment industry Strong problem-solving skills Proven ability to work collaboratively & effectively. Job Type: Full-time Permanent. Compensation offered will be commensurate with experience. Location: Oakville, ON – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required). Work Schedule: Hybrid mix of remote and in office work schedule – Monday to Friday 8 hours per day. Education: Post Secondary Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred) Experience: Investment Services Industry – Minimum 3 years (required).
