About the Company Our client, a growing company specializing in commercial, industrial, and institutional painting since 1985, has completed over 5,000 projects. The company is undergoing transformation and evolving towards greater financial and digital maturity. In this context, they are seeking a Financial Controller who will play a key role, both strategic and operational, in collaboration with various stakeholders. Your Responsibilities Finance and Accounting Produce, analyze, and update financial reports. Oversee all accounting operations: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, intercompany transactions. Manage cash flow and ensure strict monitoring of financial flows. Develop and manage the annual budget as well as financial forecasts. Establish and optimize accounting and management processes. Ensure project-based accounting in relation to client contracts. Supervise banking relations and the management of financing and credit lines. Management and Compliance Supervise, develop, and ensure the well-being of a member of the accounting team. Oversee and participate in payroll processing. Ensure compliance with client and subcontractor projects (CNESST, CCQ, receipts, denunciations, RBQ, taxes, etc.). Approve subcontractor payments based on the progress of work. Contribute to digital transformation and improvement projects (testing, implementations). Your Profile Education : DEC or Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA designation is an asset). Experience : 5 years in a similar role (construction sector is a plus). Bilingualism : Advanced French and English. Key Skills : Financial analysis, budgeting, and cash flow management. Proficiency with IT tools (Oracle, Microsoft Suite, Power BI). Organization, rigor, and attention to detail. Analytical, entrepreneurial, and curious mindset. Excellent interpersonal skills.
