Career Opportunity We are seeking a high-performing Director, Wealth Management Partnerships & Growth to accelerate our growth by leveraging their network in the wealth advisory industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, business development, advisor recruitment or fund wholesaling, with a deep understanding of investment advisory and financial planning markets. This is a permanent, full-time role reporting to the Founder. The role is ideal for an ambitious, driven professional with an entrepreneurial mindset and exceptional sales skills. As Director, Wealth Management Partnerships & Growth , you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging wealth advisors to expand our network of practice owners and M&A deal pipeline. Your ability to cultivate strong relationships with investment advisors, mutual fund advisors, and financial planners will be instrumental in driving Acquatio’s continued success. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand Acquatio’s network of practice owners within the wealth advisory sector. Identify, engage, and onboard investment advisors, financial planners, and other investment professionals interested in growth and/or succession planning. Build and nurture relationships with wealth management firms to generate deal flow for our M&A advisory business. Work closely with our network of independent wealth advisory firms to match practice owners with firms with strong alignment and opportunity to partner. Represent Acquatio at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and establish and develop centres of influence. Develop and implement targeted email, phone, and social media outreach campaigns to maintain a robust pipeline. Provide insights and feedback on market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive positioning. Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of agreements in collaboration with the M&A team. Qualifications & Experience 5 years of experience in a sales, business development, fund wholesaler or advisor recruitment role. Proven track record of success in sourcing and engaging investment advisors, mutual fund wholesalers, or financial planners. Existing network within the wealth advisory industry, with established relationships that can be leveraged for investor acquisition. Excellent communication and relationship management skills , with the ability to influence and persuade decision-makers. Highly motivated, results-driven , and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. Proficiency with CRM tools and digital outreach strategies. Completion of relevant financial certifications (e.g., CIM, CFA, CFP) is an asset but not required. Willingness to travel as needed.
