JOB TITLE:- DevOps Engineer JOB LOCATION :- Mississauga, Ontario, Canada Job Description: Prepare technical specifications for DevOps solutions and conduct design walkthroughs with Architecture and Project Teams. Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles. Work with containerization and orchestration technologies like AWS ECS, AWS ECS Anywhere, Kubernetes etc to deploy and manage microservices. Develop, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery. Implement and maintain observability solutions using tools like Dynatrace to meet the defined SLOs. Configure and maintain application and web servers such as JBossEAP, NodeJS, IHS, Apache HTTPD, IBM WebSphere Application Server ND using IaC. Manage and maintain SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring timely renewals and proper implementation to secure communications. Participate in annual disaster recovery (DR) planning and testing. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products. Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps and Cloud Platform Administration. Hands-on experience with minimum one IaC tool like Ansible, Cloudformation, Terraform etc. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably AWS core services such as EC2, ECS Fargate, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC etc. Proficiency in at least one scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Hands-on experience with observability tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana. Strong understanding on middleware technologies such as JBoss EAP, NodeJS, IBM WAS ND, JBCS Apache, Apache HTTPD etc. Familiarity with modern web application architecture & technologies, including AngularJS and Spring Boot. Advanced understanding of core TCP/IP v4 network concepts in segregated network environment (intranet/DMZ/extranets). This would include understanding of DNS, routing, load balancing, firewall/ACLs, etc. Knowledge of best practices for securing containerized applications and environments, including image scanning, vulnerability management, and runtime security. Nice to have: API Authorization framework like OAuth, JWT etc. Experience in working on Azure Cloud Core Services.
