The Opportunity – Business Development Manager We are looking for more than your average BDM. The Business Development Manager is a critical member of our Sales team. In this role, you will connect with net new client prospects to identify their business needs and educate them on the benefits of PaymentEvolution solutions that can be provided to them. As a sales professional, you will develop rapport with prospects, ask open-ended questions, diagnose challenges and their impacts, and propose high-value solutions from the PaymentEvolution suite of products. Your Responsibilities Creating, managing, and closing your funnel to consistently overachieve assigned quotas Prospecting non PaymentEvolution users to build your pipeline Processing inbound leads from marketing, business development, and other lead sources Running and closing demos for prospects previously qualified by the Sales and Customer Success Leveraging social media tools to help manage and add leads to your funnel Working with inter-related departments to ensure proper and successful onboardings Travelling to events and serving as a brand ambassador at events across Canada Presenting to clients face to face, at events and virtually to help with your sales efforts What You Have A minimum of 2 years in B2B sales with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas The ability to manage a busy sales desk of 40 dials a day with follow ups at various stages A strong sense of ownership coupled with great adaptability An ability to consistently find ways to meet and surpass your goals You’re adept at being adaptable to meet customer requirements Great verbal and written communication skills & presentation skills An understanding of the fintech landscape Bonus Points For Experience using Dynamics CRM or any major CRM, Sales Navigator and the Microsoft suite Completed sales training in a popular selling system (SPIN, Challenger Sales, etc. ) Experience working with small business owners over phone, email, or chat Experience with SMBs, payroll, benefits, or financial services Previous software sales experience Why Join Us We’re an ambitious bunch, with a focus on providing exceptional experiences to Canadian businesses.
