We help the best chefs in Canada to easily create fabulous menus Our fast-growing company is looking for a Business Development Manager for Ontario West, BDM must reside in the Greater Toronto Area If your taste buds enjoy: · Good food · Customer relations · Business development And you possess: · An entrepreneurial and tenacious spirit. · Experience in the Foodservice industry and/or related experiences. · Autonomy and excellent organizational capabilities. · Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. · A car to visit our customers. To add spice to your daily life, you will need to: · Provide culinary insights and product application to restaurants operators. · Develop sales for our partner distributors, in collaboration with their sales teams. · Act as our ambassador during culinary trade shows and events. · Actively collaborate with our sales team, present at the national level. Key duties, responsibilities: · Developing and implementing effective strategic sales plans/targets that follow the company’s strategic goals for the province of Ontario. · Expanding the business by acquiring new customers, opening new markets, and driving revenue growth through a proactive and strategic approach. · Researching and developing sustainable sales opportunities, understanding customer requirements, identifying market trends, assess competitors. · Fostering positive relationships with clients (independent restaurants, chain accounts, and broadline distributors) ensuring their satisfaction, loyalty, retention while identifying growth opportunities to expand the company’s market presence. · Cultivate and maintain high-level connections with distributors, and strategic accounts. · Planning /implementing business review meetings with key customers to discuss sales performance and sales opportunities. · Representing the company at various trade shows, meetings, associations, and other events to promote our value-added products, and culinary solutions. Qualifications and Skills: · University degree in related field, sales management, marketing. · A minimum of 5 years background in business development and account managements, a solid understanding of the food service sector, and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and strong business acumen. · Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships . · Strategic Thinking-Developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with overall business goals. · Negotiation Skills-Negotiating terms, contracts, and pricing to achieve mutually beneficial agreements. · Problem-Solving -Quickly addressing challenges and finding creative solutions to meet client requirements. · Technology-savvy including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM software, and other communication tools. · Must have own vehicle, the role requires travel regularly around the GTA and across other regions in Ontario. · Culinary experience a strong asset. · Social Media and Marketing background is a plus. · Second language an asset Why Gastronomia?
