Business Consultant, Delivery and Effectiveness Apex Systems is a large staffing and consulting firm and we are looking for a Business effectiveness with strong resourcefulness and dynamic problem-solving skills to place at our client, a top Financial Institution. Duration : 5-month contract Location : Downtown Toronto On-site/hybrid/remote : Hybrid: 1-2 days per week on-site, typically Wednesdays, and every 3rd Friday of the month; may require additional on-site presence as needed. Role Overview : We are looking for a skilled Business Consultant to join our Delivery and Effectiveness team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects stay on track and that we effectively support our team members. The ideal candidate will have a blend of project management skills and the ability to support various business functions. Key Responsibilities: Ensure projects are on track and deliverables are met. Identify and engage the right stakeholders to produce necessary materials (e.g., decks). Navigate the organization to find answers and resources. Build and support procedures. Develop and prepare decks and other documentation to facilitate project delivery. Help build artifacts such as pilot plans, user success metrics, and executive summaries. Facilitate “Ask Me Anything” sessions to support team engagement and knowledge sharing. Work closely with team members to identify and build out necessary activities. Provide support where needed to ensure smooth project delivery. Assist in building artifacts such as pilot plans, user success metrics, and executive summaries. Support the Director by taking on administrative functions to free up their time for other tasks. Understand where support is needed and provide assistance accordingly. Qualifications: Proven experience in business effectiveness and optimization. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to develop and prepare documentation and decks. Familiarity with facilitating team sessions and knowledge sharing.
