Summary: The Financial Analyst, FP&A is responsible for building models, analyzing data, and supporting budgeting and forecasting to help guide real estate investment and development decisions. Responsibilities: Build and maintain financial models for development projects, operations, and investment opportunities across various capital structures Prepare and update quarterly fund models; analyze results and present to senior finance leaders Track and explain budget-to-actual variances on key line items and KPIs Model financial impacts of assumption changes, incorporating macroeconomic factors relevant to real estate Support asset valuations by coordinating appraisals, analyzing key assumptions, and preparing fair market value models Assist with forecasting and budgeting for executives, partners, and investors Drive process improvements and enhance analytical tools Perform ad hoc analysis, scenario modelling, proforma and presale budgets Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen finance’s role as a strategic partner Manage competing deadlines while delivering accurate, timely results About You: 6 months – 3 years of experience with a minimum of 6 months of FP&A experience Background in a large or well-established organization CPA or CFA designation in progress (early stages) Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with ERP systems Real estate or property industry experience is a very strong asset Familiarity with Power BI and/or Yardi is preferred
