Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer Location: Ontario (Toronto, Ottawa, London, Hamilton – Hybrid/Remote Options Available) Salary – ($110K–$150K depending on experience) Overview: Skyline Recruitment is currently representing multiple clients across Ontario seeking experienced Senior Civil Engineers to join their growing infrastructure or land development teams. These are ideal roles for seasoned professionals ready to take ownership of complex projects, mentor junior staff, and work directly with public and private clients. This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role in project delivery, team development, and strategic planning for some of the most respected names in consulting engineering. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and execution of civil engineering projects in municipal infrastructure, site development, or transportation Oversee preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and tender documents Provide senior technical guidance and quality control on designs for grading, stormwater, watermain, sanitary, and roadway systems Manage multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate with external stakeholders, contractors, and municipalities Serve as the Engineer of Record (where applicable) Support business development by preparing proposals, meeting with clients, and identifying new project opportunities Supervise, mentor, and review work of junior engineers and designers Ensure project budgets, schedules, and deliverables are met Stay current with regulatory requirements, design standards, and municipal guidelines Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred but not required) Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (or eligible) 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management Strong technical expertise in municipal servicing, site grading, stormwater management, and land development Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil design tools Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and client-facing skills Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams concurrently What’s Offered: Competitive salary ($110K–$150K depending on experience) Annual bonus and profit-sharing eligibility Health & dental benefits, RRSP matching, and professional development support Leadership pathway toward Principal or Department Head roles Flexible work arrangements (hybrid or remote depending on the firm)
