We’re hiring on behalf of our client, a respected name in the civil engineering sector, for a Marketing Lead to spearhead the development, planning, and execution of strategic marketing initiatives. This full-time, onsite role in Mississauga will drive the success of both global and local marketing efforts, showcasing the company’s projects, people, and values to a wide audience. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic content plan for corporate communications, both internal and external. Write engaging marketing content that highlights the company’s people, projects, sector expertise, corporate values, and Sustainability Master Plan. Localize and execute global branding and marketing campaigns. Collaborate across departments to uncover and promote newsworthy stories. Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and corporate communication standards. Create and manage advertising strategies across digital and traditional platforms (SEO/SEM, Google Ads, print, etc.). Design and produce marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, and other corporate materials. Research and manage submissions for industry awards and recognitions. Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders and industry partners. Oversee strategic sponsorships and industry event participation. Plan and manage attendance at conferences, stakeholder events, and internal gatherings. Analyze and report on social media and campaign metrics, contributing to business development insights. Work closely with the corporate communications team to ensure alignment across marketing and communications efforts. Support business development through targeted marketing initiatives, content creation, and thought leadership. Mentor and guide junior marketing team members (Interns). Perform additional duties as needed to support the department and organizational goals. Travel: While based in Mississauga, occasional travel within North America and beyond may be required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A diploma in Visual or Graphic Design is an asset. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a senior-level marketing, communications, or writing role. Proven ability to lead creative and marketing projects from concept through execution. Strong experience in developing creative briefs and managing brand-focused campaigns. Proficiency in MS Office, CMS platforms, and social media management tools. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset but not required. Highly professional with strong judgment, initiative, and attention to detail. Ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling narratives. Adaptable, innovative, and able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously. Comfortable working independently and engaging with senior leaders across departments and regions.
